Job summary
The Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust has the following vacancies for decontamination technicians at their Decontamination Services unit based in Enfield.
2 x Monday to Friday 22:00 to 06:00 shift2 x Wednesday to Sunday 22:00 to 06:00 shift1 x Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 shift
The hours are 37.5 a week but flexibility is a must for these roles. You will receive an enhancement of pay for working unsocial hours and weekends.
The roles involve the following :
To stand for prolonged periods of time.To lift a considerable load above the waist.To bend, crouch, lift and turn repeatedly.Pushing and pulling heavy transportation.
The unit has the capacity to process 14 million surgical instruments and 140,000 flexible endoscopes a year and we provide a service to our own customers, other NHS, and Private Hospitals.

Main duties of the job
Your role will be to assist in the day-to-day production, issue and distribution of medical devices required for clinical use. Technicians are required to follow demonstrated training and work instructions to ensure production is to a high standard.
