For the Consultant Gastroenterologist role a £5,000 recruitment premium is payable to successful candidates upon arrival. We are also able to offer removal and relocation expenses (as per trust policy). Please note relocation expenses and the recruitment premium will be paid in line with relevant HMRC guidance .
We are looking to appoint a permanent consultant. An applicant with experience in Liver Disease would be particularly desirable to help further develop services. However, applicants with other interests would also add value to the team. Applicants will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven teaching ability. Experience in developing services and in working with teams will be an advantage. A higher degree is preferred but not a prerequisite."

Qualifications
Essential
- MBChB or equivalent
- MRCP, FRCP or equivalent
- CCST / CCT in GIM CCST / CCT in gastroenterology
- GMC registration
Desirable
- Higher degree (PhD; MD) or MPhil
- Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support Qualification (training will be available)
