Job summary
The job offers an experienced operational manager the opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills as part of an Older Adult Mental Health & Talking Therapies Division delivering high-quality services, genuine transformation and that dedicated to improvement.
The Deputy Divisional Director will support the Divisional Director in their duties and be responsible for the line management of Senior Operational Managers.
The post holder will also be expected to work pan-trust on wider programmes of work, as a responsible offer where required. and be part of the Trust's Strategic On-Call rota.
Main duties of the job
- Line Management of Senior Operational Managers
- Ensuring that services are operating at their full potential and reporting challenges and actions effectively to the Divisional Director and other members of the Senior Leadership Team
- Deputise for Divisional Director as required, and where appropriate
- Ensuring that the division is effectively delivering it's performance obligations (e.g. NOF), and developing plans in response to challenges
- Ensuring that the division is delivering on it's productivity, finance and efficiency obligations
- To be visible and involved in projects and programmes of work, leading where necessary
- Lead activities directed at ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g. CQC) and provide assurance through relevant governance routes
- To ensure that the Division delivers in obligations under PCREF and EPRR

Essential
- Masters Degree, or equivalent experience
- Operational management experience within the healthcare sector at a senior level eg Senior Operational Manager or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of leading and successfully delivering significant projects or programmes within a healthcare setting
- Experience of managing staff performance issues including (not exhaustive): o Individual performance management o Inquiries/Investigations o Commissioning and Chairing
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of managing service performance and improvement, eg KPIs, National Outcome Framework
Desirable
- Registered with relevant professional body i.e. NMC, HCPC
- Successfully completed a Healthcare Leadership Programme or Management Qualification
