Branch Manager – Domiciliary Care (Lowestoft)

An established and well-performing domiciliary care branch in Lowestoft is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and grow the service. The branch has strong local demand, a stable and dedicated team, and solid foundations with clear opportunities for further development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you can shape the direction of the branch and make a measurable difference to both clients and staff.

Reports to: Operations Manager / Regional Operations Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage branch staff, fostering a positive culture and supporting professional development
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours operational cover and acting as escalation lead for emergencies, safeguarding, and service continuity
  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, client intake, care planning, and service coordination
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and effective risk management
  • Build strong relationships within the community, conduct assessments, handle concerns, and promote services
  • Manage branch performance, including budget oversight, KPI monitoring, and identifying growth opportunities

About You

  • Previous management experience within a domiciliary care setting (essential)
  • Strong business acumen with a drive to develop and grow the service
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards
  • Effective leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
