Main duties of the job
You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report into the Unit Manager for the service but also have support from a Clinical lead.
As a Radiographer at Alliance Medical you will be responsible for adhering to protocol and procedures to produce high quality images and an exceptional standard of patient and customer care. Our focus is on teamwork and working together to provide the best service for all in an environment that encourages learning, development and support.

What We're Looking For
You will follow our Graduate Preceptorship scheme and during the preceptorship you will gain experience in MRI.
If you are a newly qualified Radiographer or in your final year of study, then this is the opportunity for you. This is a dynamic role, and to support your learning Alliance Medical have a robust Clinical Competency Framework and can provide the essential training you will need to help you learn and develop your skills and knowledge.
You will follow our Graduate training scheme and Clinical Competency Pathway and be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors.
You will see your skills develop and salary increase as you progress through the key stages of your training. The training will be "on the job."
To be eligible for our graduate preceptorship scheme, you must have no more than 1 year post qualification experience in a clinical setting.
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- HCPC registration.
- A patient-centred approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding care and an excellent patient experience.
- IV cannulation skills, or a willingness to undertake training (training will be provided where required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues and referrers.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to use your initiative when required.
- Good IT skills and experience of working with digital imaging systems.
