In this role you will need to be innovative to adapt to the complexities of the clients unmet needs in relation to behaviours that challenge in Dementia. You will need to have good communication, organisational and time management skills.

Main duties of the job
- Work within a Multidisciplinary Team under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Deliver Health and Social care within the Care and Treatment plan.
- Provide support to service users on an individual and on a group basis both within Community and Inpatient settings.
- With supervision and support from Registered Nurses be responsible for and manage own workload and safety.
- Participate in caseload management supervision from Registered Nurses.
- Actively participate in continuing professional development through the Knowledge Skills Framework
- To support individuals by role modelling psychological interventions
- Being part of Multi disciplinary discussion and Formulations
- Feeding back observations using the PAL document.

- Knowledge of the Code of Conduct for Health Care Support Workers in Wales and All Wales Delegation Guidelines (HEIW)
- Knowledge of relevant policies and proceedures within the health care setting for example The Principles of Safeguarding Adults/Children to keep patients in their care safe and Confidentiality for example General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
Communication skills

- Good communication skills - verbal, non-verbal and written and the ability to convey information clearly and sensitively.
