We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to join our dynamic Occupational Health & Wellbeing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality, proactive occupational health service, supporting staff across the Trust and external clients. The role sits within a service that is evolving and transforming to deliver high-impact, preventative interventions aligned to workforce wellbeing priorities.

A core requirement of this role isdemonstrable knowledge and experience of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, including assessment, case management, and providing practical workplace advice to support rehabilitation and return to work.

Main duties of the job

  • Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health service, including management referrals, fitness for work assessments and health surveillance
  • Provide specialist advice on a range of conditions, with a significant focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) health, early intervention and prevention
  • Manage a caseload autonomously, including rehabilitation and return-to-work planning
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Contribute to service transformation and improvement, supporting delivery of high-impact wellbeing interventions
  • Engage with staff and managers to promote health, wellbeing and safe working practice

Qualifications, Education and Training

  • oRegistered Nurse (NMC Part 1)
  • oPostgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (or working towards) or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge and experience of working in NHS occupational health
