This is an excitingcross-site rotational role where you will gain specialist skills and knowledge to help develop and guide you through your career.
We have full time/ part time and fixed term vacancies available.

- Medicine
- Trauma and Orthopaedics
- Critical Care, Cardiac and Surgery
- OlderPerson Therapyincluding Front Door
- Stroke
- Paediatrics

Job description
Job responsibilities
The post holder will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive, integrated and efficient therapeutic service for patients referred for Occupational Therapy (OT).
Staff will rotate approximately every six months to different clinical sites and areas across the Trust. Each rotation will have clear learning objectives. On some rotations Band 5 OTs will be required to supervise non-registered staff.
The post holder will be responsible for a separate and designated caseload.
The post holder will take an active part in their own development and will seek help and advice accordingly.
Registered staff will work alongside non-registered staff and may delegate some activities.
The post holder will be supported by a Band 6 / 7 throughout the rotation.
The post holder will be required to work shifts including weekends and to participate in the bank
Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Completion of Occupational Therapy Degree
- Current HCPC registration (or due to receive Summer 2026)
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Completion of a variety of pre-registration placements including a hospital-based placement
- Other related experience in a care or rehab setting, either before or after qualifying
- Evidence of team working
Aptitudes

- Credible & mature attitude, which is recognised & respected by other staff
- Demonstrates a commitment to own professional development.
- Demonstrates trust values - supportive, respectful, innovative, collaborative
