An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our intermediate care team.
This will provide you with excellent opportunities to develop a wide range of clinical and professional skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
Main duties of the job
You will carry out holistic Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment interventions, considering the persons physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs. You will work on the intermediate care unit. You will work with the MDT to achieve patients rehabilitation goals, facilitating discharge home or to appropriate settings.
You will be supervised and supported by highly skilled and experienced therapists and work collaboratively with the MDT. The Therapy Department strives for continuous service improvement and professional development is supported. We have a comprehensive preceptorship programme and place great importance upon training and supporting all members of our team.
