An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy Team in Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. The post holder will deliver a range of occupationally focussed assessments and interventions and will join a small and friendly team based in YYF. The team is part of the acute and trauma OT service within ABUHB
The post offers opportunity to deliver a wide variety of assessments and interventions with patients both in a hospital setting as well as in the patients own home after discharge. There will be opportunity to support patients with a wide range of conditions and a variety of complexity. Interventions include assessment and provision of moving and handling equipment and inpatient rehabilitation with a focus on rapid discharge planning using a discharge to assess model where appropriate.

Occupational Therapy is a highly regarded service as part of the Multidisciplinary approach in YYF. This is a faced paced environment that will require the applicant to have good organisational skills and be flexible to changing demands.
The OT service in ABUHB is committed to service development and continued learning and you will be supported with regular supervision and opportunities for learning and developing leadership skills
