An opportunity has arisen at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS trust for an enthusiastic and dynamic physiotherapist who is ready to further develop andconsolidate their knowledge and skills on the assessment and management of musculoskeletal dysfunction during the childbearing year to pelvicfloor dysfunction. Our work includes managing obstetric and gynae-oncology wards, musculoskeletal obstetric and pelvic floor dysfunctionoutpatient clinics. Additionally you will have the opportunity to lead patient education classes.
The Pelvic Health physiotherapy team works alongside the expert MSK Physiotherapy and MCATTS team's; working together with patient care,in-service training and research and service development. The service continues to grow and currently has a B8 Clinical Lead-Specialist, x3 B7Highly Specialist Physiotherapists, x2 Static Band 6, Rotational Band 6, Rotational Band 5 and a Static Band 4.
Main duties of the job
You will be currently working at Band 5/6 level and have some experience of working in a pelvic health physiotherapy and/or musculoskeletalsetting either at undergraduate or post qualification level. You will be responsible for assisting the Highly Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapistin the daily operational management of this speciality. You will be responsible for supervising and appraising Band 4 and 5 staff andphysiotherapy students.

Job responsibilities
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients referred to the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Team at Guys and St Thomas Hospitaltrust. The post will support the clinical specialist physiotherapist in Pelvic Health physiotherapy and manage an outpatient caseload as well asproviding a service across obstetric and gynaecology wards.

Qualifications
Essential
- Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development including attendance at recent post graduate courses relevant to the clinical field

- Full Membership of ACPWH
Knowledge
Essential
- Good clinical knowledge relevant to physiotherapy within a Pelvic Health setting
- Understanding of Clinical Governance and the implications for physiotherapy services including experience of quality issues and audit

- Experience of the research process

- Broad range of experience, as an autonomous practitioner, at Band 5 level in acute and chronic respiratory care, acute and chronic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal work
- Experience of managing Pelvic Health patients in both in- and out- patient settings
- Experience of working as member of a physiotherapy team and of a multidisciplinary team within an NHS setting

- Previous experience at Band 6 level within a Pelvic Health setting
