We are delighted to offer a unique development opportunity within our Cancer/Oncology Day Unit Services to help shape the future of the cancer workforce. The ACCEND programme is transforming how we support, educate, and develop everyone involved in caring for people affected by cancer -- and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that change.
In this role, you will work alongside our Oncology Specialty Educator and Lead Cancer Nurse, collaborating with teams across the service to embed the ACCEND framework and strengthen career pathways.

o Assist in Organising, developing and delivering clinical training programmes to meet the learning needs of the target audience within the specialty (ACCEND)o Act as a clinical resource to colleagues by guiding practice developments, assessing competence and supporting implementation of policieso Promote a lifelong learning culture providing a high level of professionalism in the delivery of trainingo Challenge practice and identify competency issueso Support the implementation and sustainability of clinical supervisiono Ensure production of transparent data and reports on activity.o Uphold high levels of clinical practice

You will work alongside other specialities and professional groups to promote and maintain education and development in relation to ACCEND and support the implementation of the framework
Person Specification
Qualifications / Registration
Essential
- Professional registration with NMC/HCPC/GPC (depending on the role advertised)
- Degree level of knowledge or equivalent level of knowledge and / or experience, supplemented by specialist knowledge relevant to the role to post graduate diploma level equivalent.
- Post registration qualification relevant to specialty or equivalent experience
- IT skills to produce educational resources, reports and data
- Qualification in learning and assessing in clinical practice and experience of delivering training and education
Desirable
- Trained clinical supervisor
- Trained coach
