Job summary

Main duties of the job

The role of Staff Nurse is both challenging and interesting. As well as co-coordinating the outpatient activity to ensure the service is well run and waiting times are kept to a minimum, you'll also get involved in service improvements within the department. A great chance to develop leadership skills that are patient-centered, you'll also be encouraged to expand and develop your knowledge, skills and competencies within a supported and friendly environment.Whilst renal experience is not necessary, you must be willing to learn about the specialty. Integrity and vision, plus a real desire to take the service forward and expand the nursing role, are also essential. In return, there will be various training opportunities available on and off site and you'll also have a personal development plan that's tailored to your individual needs
