Join our award-winning Games Institute at an exciting time as Training Centre Director within the School of Digital, Technology, Business and Innovation. This role offers the opportunity to shape how we connect education with industry, creating learning experiences that are practical, relevant and responsive to a rapidly evolving professional landscape. Within this role, you will collaborate with colleagues and external partners to develop courses that open up new opportunities for learners at different stages of their careers. You will play an important role in ensuring our provision is inclusive, accessible and aligned to real-world needs, supporting individuals and organisations to develop skills, confidence and capability.

Main Responsibilities

The Training Centre Director will support the design and delivery of CPD, short courses and commercial training, ensuring provision is relevant, up to date and accessible to a broad range of learners. The role involves working with colleagues and external partners to develop courses and maintain strong relationships with employers and education providers. You will contribute to delivering a positive and engaging learning experience, support course teams in their day-to-day activity, and help promote courses to attract and retain a diverse range of learners. In addition, you will assist with quality processes, contribute to ongoing course improvements, and represent the University in a professional and collaborative manner.
