Job summary

We are looking to recruit a enthusiastic and innovative Speciality Doctor to join our dynamic team at the Northern Care Alliance. The right candidates will be working within our Accident and Emergency department at Fairfield General Hospital in Bury. You will be joining a highly motivated and highly performing urgent Care Team. Current Full Registration with the GMC is essential.

Main duties of the job

Active participation in the reception, initial diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients attending the Emergency Department. Where appropriate the post holder will refer them to the relevant speciality

The post holder when required will conduct follow up clinics within the Emergency Department as directed by the Consultants The post holder will be expected to deputise for absent colleagues and such exceptional irregular commitments outside normal roster duties as are essential for the continuity of patient care, due to occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances. Other duties may be allocated by the Consultants to ensure the proper care of patients.

Full GMC Registeration
